PROOF OF A LIFE

After leaving the leopard print jungle of Reno and Las Vegas, I moved to Los Angeles to attend USC. I earned dual degrees in Theatre and Political Science. I discovered the perfect union of majors to work for The Daily Show… or a restaurant.

I attended the British American Drama Academy in London where I studied Shakespearean acting in a conservatory setting. After that, I studied improvisation and sketch comedy at iO West, the Groundlings and UCB. I also acted in theater productions… lots of theater productions. I was a founding member of Unknown Theater (which was a phenomenal company and an incredible place to learn the art of letting go).

I was on the house sketch and improv teams The Cover Up, Drug Money, Hey Neighbor at iO West, as well as a house long form improv team at Second City, Brother Bradley, and the house improv team a Flappers comedy club in Burbank. I've done hundreds of shows and only one audience member puked during a performance (kidding—that happens often).

My two-woman comedy band, VOMIT! were regulars at the Improv on Melrose and Laugh Factory and got a development deal to pitch our own TV show. This experience led me to explore working on the other side of the camera. I previously worked as a personal assistant for a few celebrities, so I understood pain and suffering; having these skills at the ready was an asset in production. Making film and television involves long hours, lots of energy, and mad organizational skills. In addition to being SAG-AFTRA, I am also a local 399 Teamster location manager. I have a handful of excellent celebrity stories. Come to my comedy shows and maybe I’ll tell you one…

As a writer, my television and film specs have earned nods in the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship, Page Awards, LaunchPad, InRoads, Creative Voices Competition, ISA Top 50 Selection, ISA Pitchfest Official selection, TSL Script Lab, Diverse Voices screenwriting competition. I’m a former headline writer for The Onion and a regular contributor for Slackjaw, Jane Austen’s Wastebasket, The Bold Italic, Insider, and Greener Pastures.

I’ve had my head blown off in Rubber, been bitchy and creepy on General Hospital, been in black and white on Teachers, and been everything from lingerie clad to an angry Trump supporter on Conan O'Brien.

Finally, as the law demands, I podcast. I podcast many podcasts. I can podcast your podcast; send me an inquiry for rates.
