As most anyone who’s been paying attention to the LA comedy scene knows, the closing of iO West was a shock. I started training there back when iO was on Santa Monica Blvd! If you don’t know what years iO was at that location, then it was yesterday!
The valuable lessons, connections, and stage time I had at iO, in no uncertain terms, helped shape who I am as a person. I met my improv “family” and all the extensions of that family, because of that place. From Hey Neighbor, Blank Label, The Outfit, PRI, The Cover Up, The Greene Boozer Elixir, and all the random shows in between, thanks, iO West, for having me.
